COE Awarded Contract for DOS Curriculum Development Assessment

Rockville, Md. (September 19, 2013) - The Center for Organizational Excellence, Inc. (COE) announced today their award for the U.S. Department of State (DOS) Foreign Service Institute (FSI) to perform an analysis of the current state of FSI's curriculum development. FSI is the federal government's primary training institution for officers and support personnel of the U.S. foreign affairs community.

COE and its partner, DevTech Systems, Inc., have joined together as Team DevTech to analyze and provide recommendations for improved approaches that will align FSI processes with current industry standards. Team DevTech will help the agency become more efficient and effective in developing and delivering their education curriculum by analyzing the current state, benchmarking against industry best practices, and providing recommendations for improvement.

Team DevTech has strong experience supporting training program assessments and business process improvement engagements for large government agencies including the Office of Personnel Management, Department of Defense, U.S. Marshals Service, National Institutes of Health, Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, Small Business Administration, and the U.S. Department of Agriculture.

"In partnership with FSI, Team DevTech aims to develop a robust, comprehensive approach to analyzing the current state and ways to unleash positive elements to enable successful curriculum development," said Steve Goodrich, COE's president and chief executive officer. "Team DevTech can help FSI ensure that curriculum development best practices and procedures are systematically and comprehensively applied across the agency."
