COE Donates to Newtown Memorial Fund

Rockville, Md. (January 2, 2013) - The Center for Organizational Excellence, Inc. (COE) today announced its donation to the Newtown Memorial Fund, an all-volunteer organization created to support those affected by the 2012 Sandy Hook Elementary School shootings. The contribution will go towards creating a sustainable fund to provide for the immediate and ongoing needs of those affected by the tragedy, construct a physical memorial honoring the lives lost, and establish academic scholarships in the victims' names for future generations of Newtown students.

"In the face of such great tragedy, we hope that COE's support will help Newtown heal," said Steve Goodrich, COE's president and chief executive officer. "We are proud to be part of this effort to honor and memorialize those affected and lost by the shootings on December 14."

As a company, COE strives to go beyond simple management and technology consulting solutions. We truly care and want to help our clients achieve their mission. In this same vein, COE is dedicated to showing compassion and support for our community and country during difficult times.

The Newtown Memorial Fund's vision is to be the central repository for the many local and global causes who are all reaching out looking for ways to help. Through centralization of gifts and fundraising work, coupled with its own organic development and fundraising, the organization hopes to achieve both immediate and ongoing victim family support and long-standing preservation of the memories of those they have lost, while improving their community for an infinite period of time.
