The Center for Organizational Excellence, Inc. (COE) announced today their support for the Iraq and Afghanistan Veterans of America (IAVA). IAVA is an organization located in New York, NY that exists to build an empowered generation of veterans who will provide sustainable leadership for our country and communities. The company made the decision to make a financial contribution to IAVA in lieu of giving client gifts to recognize and honor the service of all civil servants.
“IAVA is devoted to positively and permanently impacting the quality of life for Iraq and Afghanistan veterans. Similarly, COE is committed to providing our Federal clients with long-term, sustainable solutions that go beyond our involvement in a project or program,” said Lyn McGee, COE’s Vice President of Strategic Development. “Moreover, caring and helping are two of COE’s core company values. We are very proud to contribute to an organization that gives back to the men and women who have served our country so bravely.”
IAVA is a 501(c)3 organization dedicated to standing with veterans of Iraq and Afghanistan from their first day home through the rest of their lives. As the nation’s first and largest nonpartisan organization for this generation of veterans, IAVA provides their 95,000 veteran members with valuable transitional resources related to mental health, employment, education, and access to Community of Veterans, an exclusive online social network.
