The Center for Organizational Excellence, Inc. (COE) announced its sponsorship of the 2012 Human Capital Management Federal (HCMF) Training Conference to be held November 28 – 30 at the Sheraton National Hotel in Arlington, Virginia. This conference brings together stakeholders and practitioners from both federal government agencies and the private sector to identify and discuss human capital strategies, best practices and emerging trends.
COE’s president and chief executive officer, Steve Goodrich, will serve as chairperson on November 29, leading an agenda focused on linking organizational excellence and human capital management. “This is a critical conference with a real focus on organization-level performance strategy, not just tactics. As an emerging trend, we see our clients focused on making sure that the human assets are there and ready to meet their agency’s strategic mission,” says Mr. Goodrich.
These are challenging times for the federal human capital community, but there are also unique opportunities to use human capital to drive the federal government towards more efficient and effective operations. HCMF provides a forum for federal human capital practitioners to collaborate across organizations, learn from each other’s experience, and develop ways forward that are tailored for specific organizations.
“Attendees are here for specific takeaways that are critical to their growth and to the success of their organizations,” says Lyn McGee, COE’s Vice President of Strategic Development. “Organizers, sponsors and attendees all share a commitment to ensuring the success of individual federal organizations through human capital management.”
