Volunteers from The Center for Organizational Excellence, Inc. (COE) joined the Capital Area Food Bank (CAFB) at their Distribution Center in Northeast DC on Saturday, May 30, to help strengthen the hunger safety net in the Greater Washington Area. The project involved packing and sorting donated food, re-packaging food for distribution, assisting with food pick-up orders, and straightening the warehouse to help keep it neat and organized.

“COE is devoted to improving the quality of life for members of our local communities,” said Steve Goodrich, president and CEO of The Center for Organizational Excellence, Inc. “The company is proud to assist the CAFB, a hunger-relief organization that makes a great impact with the great programs they run every day. Caring and helping are two of COE’s core company values and – in keeping with the CAFB’s motto -we too believe that ‘Together We Can Solve Hunger’.”
